Tom Sharp – Asst. Varsity Offensive Line Coach

Coach Sharp graduated from Central High School where he played offensive line. He received a football scholarship to Eastern Kentucky University where he played nose guard and offensive line (lettered four years). He received a B.S. in Physical Education and Health from EKU, later earning his Masters in Education from Xavier University.

Coach Sharp’s coaching career started at Eastern Hills Junior High, followed by 14 years at Woodward High School (seven years as Head Coach) and two years as Withrow High School’s Head Football Coach. In 1986 Coach Sharp became Head Coach at Walnut Hills High School and Health & Physical Education teacher. He coached and taught at Walnut Hills for over 17 years.

After retiring, Coach Sharp returned to Walnut Hills in 2007 as an Assistant Offensive Line and Defensive Line Coach. Coach Sharp resides in Maderia. He has two adult sons, Duff and Kip, and four grandchildren.
